RAW Recap

So the Slammy's edition of RAW was better than usual.   Obviously the Slammy's segments themselves were awful for the most part, but I thought they gave us some decent matches and I personally enjoyed the final segment and the questions it tried to raise with how Sunday will turn out with the unified title match.   I'll post a TLC Predictions story and go over all that later this week though.   Other storyline stuff they did was further fleshed out the Miz and Brodus heel turns and provided the backdrop for more craziness in the tag division.   Am I the only one finding those belts the most intriguing thing about the WWE?   There are a lot of deserving tag teams out there right now, and not enough belts to go around.   Then again knowing the WWE the Rhodes Bros will hold onto them for the next 3 years and everyone else will be fired.  As for the PPV Sunday, I'm not crazy about the TLC show on paper, but if (and that's a huge IF) the WWE plays it out right there could be some interesting storylines there.

Smackdown Preview

As always this non-spoiler preview is from prowrestling.net.   I don't know the results, I'm just guessing.

1.  Daniel Bryan vs Erick Rowan:  What the WWE will probably try to establish is that one on one Bryan can take any of these guys out, but that as a team it's impossible.  So look for Bryan to get the win, then get clobbered after

2.  Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs the Real Americans (non-title):   YES.   I was really curious last week why the WWE was seemingly moving forward with Rybaxel and not Real Americans.    I think you have to give the Real Americans the win here to set up more and more possibilities for the tag titles at TLC.

3.  Mark Henry vs Damien Sandow:   Interesting match.   Hard for me to see them giving Henry a loss, but why have him drop Sandow before Sandow's IC match 2 days prior?   You've got to assume Big E Langston will play a factor either during or after.....   I'm gonna say no contest or maybe Sandow gets DQd and Big E comes out for the save?

4.  Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs the Usos:    Since the Usos dont have a match this Sunday, it's hard to see them getting a win without Punk interference.   I'll say Shield win just to show us how little a chance Punk has ("If two of the Shield can beat two Usos, what will 3 of them do against one CM Punk?!")   There's also a chance Ambrose somehow fucks up the match for the other 2, leading to more "Shield implosion" story potential

5.  Big Show vs Ryback:   This has to turn into Curtis Axel and Rey Mysterio being out in the ring right?   I don't like Ryback's chances solo, so we either get schmozz or a Big Show win leading up to the others

6.  Alberto Del Rio vs Kofi Kingston:   Well no way is this closing the show right?  There must be some sort of showdown between Cena/Orton or Punk/Shield etc etc to close it out.    Since Del Rio has lost 2 in a row to Sin Cara, I guess it's possible Kofi wins to further the "frustrated Alberto" mini-angle.   Then again maybe Miz costs Kofi the match and leads to an added TLC match no one will care about.   Yup, sold.

Rising

1.  Natalya:   Just putting this out there in case she's still available in any leagues (I could see it being possible!).   Anyway, she has a legit chance to win the Divas belt Sunday, and Sunday is the last day of the season!  Go for it all!

2.  Brodus Clay:  Here's the thing, at this point all the other TLC stars are probably taken, so you have to look deep and try to figure out what matches could be added.  To me?  I think we see a Brodus vs Xavier Woods or Brodus/R-Truth, or maybe Tons of Funk vs Woods/Truth.    Maybe we see the fully fledged return of SHEEEEEEEEEEIIII.   God let's hope so

3.  Sin Cara/The Miz/Kofi Kingston/R-Truth:   Just others I think could be tacked onto TLC last minute.  Good luck on the final show!

Falling

1.   Alberto Del Rio:   He might end up being a late addition to the card, but it's crazy to think how quickly he's fallen.   Maybe if he does get a match at TLC he'll win, but I think they're going to put him on a losing streak for a while

2.  The Usos:   Doesnt look probable for them to get a match at TLC.   I'd drop them after Friday night

3.  The Bellas/Los Matadores/Mark Henry/Khali:  Others who appear to not have a match lined up.   If you can get someone guaranteed to be on the show for someone who's not?   I'd say do it.
