I thought Raw was a good show, solely for the purposes of advancing the Survivor Series storyline. You had the very obvious Ryback swerve, the not quite as expected Luke Harper return, the "was everyone else assuming this was happening except me?" additions of Rusev and Sheamus to the respective teams, and most hilariously, Swagger both added to Team Cena and then removed within minutes of each other. Fantastic. I must have missed some sort of pre-show segment about Swagger? That just felt so random, but I was just as happy when I realized he'd be beaten out of the group as I was upset about his inclusion to begin with. I don't need more Swagger in my life.
Everyone with Harper on your team, breathe a big sigh of relief. I know the weeks/months leading up to that moment had to have been tough, but good for you if you stuck it through! Now you have to hope he actually gets some matches in before Survivor Series. I'm not sure if ultimately he will be worth having held him for Zero points for over a month, but it sure will feel worth it over the course of the rest of the season.
Also congrats to anyone who was fortunate enough to swoop in on Ryback the week he returned. He's already paying dividends in a big way and with his spotlight as a future member of Team Cena should load him up on points.
The most confusing angle to me right now is the tag title picture. Right now Goldust and Stardust have losses to the Matadores and Stardust just lost to Adam Rose, yet Miz and Mizdow have taken care of Rose and the Bunny. I'm thinking at some point they give Rose and the Bunny a title shot, which D2D retain and Rose will blame the Bunny for the loss causing the final fallout with those two. Not sure how Matadores and Miz/Mizdow play into that at the moment though. That'll still leave D2D, Miz/Mizdow, Matadores and the Usos for a Fatal 4 way? No clue.
