Choke's RAW 10/1/12 Fantasy Report: Champions reign supreme

Who's rising, who's falling after tonight's RAW?

I thought this was possibly the best 3 hour RAW put on so far.  Plenty of matches highlighting most of the top in ring talent, good storyline developments, and generally no slow segments (so long as you fast forwarded the Sheamus/Big Show debate)

Rising:
1.  AJ Lee - The possibility of her not being GM is good news for fantasy owners.  They're already setting up her match(es) with Kaitlyn, and she's clearly one of the better Divas in the ring.  The question is how soon will all of this happen?   Either way the bottom line is she's a wasted talent being used solely as GM, and she's poised to have (another) breakout point season soon.
2.  Kaitlyn - Call me crazy, but I think the WWE is really big on her and I think they're completely determined to continue having Divas matches spotlighted on TV.  Kaitlyn will be a big part of that and it looks like she'll be back sooner than later
3.  Slater/McIntyre/Mahal - I have NO IDEA where they're going to go with this, but I at least expect a lot of interference, accompanying, microphone, and attack points at least.   I like the idea of a McIntyre/Mahal tag team that could actually do some damage (probably not to the top, but maybe over teams like Kidd/Gabriel or Ryder/Santino?)

Also:  All the usual suspects (Ryback, Del Rio, Sheamus, Team Hell No =\, Sin Mysterio) get wins, The Miz and Cesaro get some much welcome shine, Eve continues to be one of the most surprising pickups of the year, and Sandow impresses in a loss

Falling:
1.  Brodus Clay - Whoa.  I mean one could argue this is just a setup to have him get a US Championship match against Cesaro in the future, but damn, I can't believe how he basically got squashed.  They didn't even leave the door open for a continuing fued here IMO, though that doesnt mean they wont.
2.  Layla - She just doesn't seem to fit in currently with the angles they're developing with the Divas.  The Kaitlyn/Eve/AJ/mystery blonde angle.... what's Layla got to do with it?
3.  Santino/Ryder/Gabriel/Kidd - It's not even going to be on Raw or Smackdown?   I didn't see that coming.  It's cool they're giving some big matches for the premiere of Main Event, but unfortunately it won't be graded so it's a lost opportunity for these 4 and I don't see either team beating Rhodes Scholars in the semis

Also:  Tensai continues to lose (and not beat up Sakamoto), Primo and Epico are irrelevento, Kofi and Truth are on the fast track to join them until they split up to singles.
